Surprisingly effective, especially over the intercom. Used it over distances of 400 metres plus, including bends. Music play was fine, my helmet is a bit noisy at speed so some limitations. Even has an auto answer feature for phone calls. Buttons a bit tricky with gloves on but a bit of practice helps. Battery life is good, after 6 hours of almost constant intercom talking still had 80% battery. Recharged in 20 minutes. Considering the low cost I wasn't expecting too much, but was pleasantly surprised.

Easy 5 stars for this one. Value is incredible if you want to listen to some tunes and not an audiophile( hard to be audiophile when wind is introduced). Brilliant in intercom mode though! It’s not the easiest thing to control with gloves on, but again, for the money, it is fantastic. Me and my friend have a couple and they work seamlessly in intercom mode - very clear, connection is easy and the distance is decent enough! These also do connect to other brands (tested with Cardo)
