This great combo makes adjusting your chain sooo easy to get the right slack and proper wheel alignment. Couple of tips though, make sure you align the bottom of the plastic dome to the indicator line and not the nut it sits one. Secondly, you have to take make sure you take out all the slack in the chain. I got it right at the second attempt, but this and the laser alignment tool made it so easy to get the rear wheel aligned correctly. Very happy with the results. It’s so quick and easy to get your chain adjustment spot on.

Both the chain tensioner and the guide do work but they just seem a bit cheap, given that they aren't that cheap. They feel like a working prototype rather than finished products. The chain tensioner is the easiest to use and despite some rough edges is fine. The alignment tool needs some work. The laser doesn't point down enough and the grips don't have enough... Well... Grip. They give an idea of what's going on but that's about it. B- Could do better, see teacher.

The tension tool works well & is easy to use accurately. The laser alignment tool is poor not suitable for my bike Triumph Street triple 765RS hard to align on the lightweight race sprocket doesn't grip correctly. I tried on a friends Kawasaki Versys 650 managed to set laser better grip on solid sprocket, still not brilliant.

I definately liked the idea of the purpose of these tools & yes they was easy to use in certain respects. I disliked them being made from plastic which means they would have a short life span and the chain monkeys' calibration is marked out on a flimsy sticker which is liable to come off with continued use. I watched the video on chain monkeys' website for correct use and found that chain tension was way too tight, that was after trying 3 times. The laser tool was useless. Again made of plastic and wobbled on the rear sprocket when trying to alignment rear wheel. Also the laser tool literally eats button batteries. I used 3 for about 10 mins work time and that included the supplied battery. The clamping section of the laser tool needs to be made so that it has a firmer grip so that it does'nt wobble. I am an engineer with 46 years experience with working on the tools and was very dissapointed with the quality & design. Great idea, but sadlly lacking on quality and design which does'nt warrant what I think is a high price.

Tiger 955i Aligned the chain perfectly. Gave the right amount of slack. Laser was bright enough to see in bright sun. Used correctly its a handy bit of kit. Probably not suitable for daily use in a workshop due to the lack of storage case and the paper sticker on the chain tensioning tool however if you do your own maintenance and only have a couple of bikes this tool will save you money in the long term.

Vorweg: das Set kam zwar mit Batterien, die waren aber nach ein paar Minuten leer. Sehr angenehm, mit öligen Fingern und dem Auto in den nächsten Baumarkt zu fahren und dort die eher exotischen Batterien zu finden. Das System wäre gut, hätte es nicht ein paar Fehler. Der Laser wackelt auf dem Zahnkranz, die Schraube zum Festziehen ist zu klein, um wirklich festzuziehen. Das trägt nicht gerade zur Präzision bei. Das Teil für die Kettenspannung ist, wie auch der Laser, aus Kunststoff. Es verwindet sich bei etwas stärkerem Zug, wenn die Kette beim Festschrauben der Achse nochmal gespannt wird, womit die Voreinstellung beim Teufel ist. Letztendlich und nach einigen Versuchen lernt man aber, mit diesen Fehlern umzugehen, daher zwei Sterne.
